Would you like to take action against prejudice and exclusion? Are you at ease with people? Do you have two free hours a month? Would you like to facilitate sessions for high school students? Do you have a personal connection to Jewish life? Are you under 35? Then you should join us!
Haver's volunteer educators provide interactive sessions on Jewish life for high school and university students. Through their personal experiences, they present the many faces of Jewishness, allowing students to learn about prejudice, identity, and coexistence by talking to young people.
As a first step to joining our volunteer team, we welcome you to our multi-stage, interactive training. During and after the training, and before we throw you in the deep end, you can attend our sessions and observe how our experienced volunteers lead our sessions. When you're ready, you can start facilitating sessions in pairs.
